Carola earned a master’s degree in psychology in 2014, from Argosy University, Tampa and since that time has been providing a wide variety of client’s the benefits of a positive psychology approach in their pursuit of wellness. Carola has worked with folks struggling with dual diagnosed disorders, Veteran’s transitioning home from battle, and parents working to regain custody of their children. Currently as an LMHC and Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) practitioner, Carola utilizes a wealth of highly effective, traditional and holistic therapies with clients; including CBT, DBT, REBT, MET, Expressive Therapies, Ecotherapy and ART. Carola has conceived and implemented a creative therapeutic approach based on positive psychology and creative therapies entitled; “Canvases from Life and Nature.” Carola works to address the broader root problem faced by the many folks struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues, which is a universal disconnect within themselves, and in their community, locally and globally. Through the group process of creating, clients not only enhance positive connections with each other, but also have a better understanding of their own minds and an increased knowledge of skills, leading to the goal of self-mastery.
