Residential Client “What to Pack” Checklist

Clothing

  • One Weeks’ worth of clothing (Laundry Facility on Premises)
  • Clothing that is comfortable, gym clothing
  • No clothing with offensive images, writing, inappropriate or too revealing
  • Shoes, sneakers, sandals, socks, underwear

Toiletries

  • Soap, shampoo, toothbrush, etc. (will be provided if requested)
  • Hair products
  • Alcohol-Free toiletries and hygiene items
  • No straight razors

Medications

  • Bring current medications
  • Make sure they are in the original prescription bottles

Smokers

  • Bring sealed packs of cigarettes (currently no vape)
  • Cigarettes can be purchased on shopping days

Leisure Activities

  • Books or reading material for downtime
  • Journals
  • AM/FM alarm clock/radio if desired
  • Crossword puzzles, word searches, etc.

Phones & Electronics

You can bring cell phones, tablets, and other electronics; however, access will be limited depending on the level of care.  These guidelines are in place to protect focus during treatment and maintain a safe, recovery-centered environment.  Family communication can always be arranged through staff if needed.

What NOT to bring:

  • No outside food, gum, mints, or drinks. Any food products/drinks brought in on admission will be thrown away (List of approved items can be purchased on shopping days)
  • Drugs, alcohol, or non-prescribed medications
  • No Pets or Service animals, due to being in a shared environment with others.
